I'm knitting a DWS for my elder brother who turns 55 in June. Using the pattern found at doctorwhoscarf.com, the Series 12 original. I've got Bendigo Woollen Mills Classic 8 ply for all the colours to ensure a consistent finish. And I'm about a quarter of the way through:

I finally finished the Ravenclaw Hogwart's house scarf I always wanted! I used the atypicallyknit pattern, and went with blue and bronze, as the Ravenclaw scarves are described in the books.

Thanks to everyone who offered encouragement and advice when I wasn't sure if I could finish my first lace project before Christmas! After quite a bit of frogging on the first few repeats, I did manage to find a groove and get the rest done in good time.
